According to PwC’s Global Entertainment & Media Outlook 2025–2029, the global entertainment and media industry generated approximately $2.9 trillion in revenue in 2024 and is expected to reach $3.5 trillion by 2029, driven by the growth of advertising across all platforms. The industry has thus become not only a major engine of economic growth, but also a tool of geopolitical projection.
